HI I'M CHANTAL, welcome to my page!
I am a 'Dutch Aussie', or an 'Aussie Dutchie', and I live with my husband and two children on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney.
Since migrating to Australia in 2002, it was my dream to one day have my own portable business. One that would allow me to live and work from wherever life would take me, and not (just) be office-bound.
Back in 2019 I made the tough decision to resign from a corporate job that, although I loved doing, negatively impacted my physical and mental health as well as my family life. It was time to make a choice that would take my life into a more positive direction. That choice started with me.
I wanted to create something successful for myself, working towards my goals whilst living a healthy, balanced life. Something that gave me purpose. I found this, and so much more, here and I have never been happier doing what I do in my entire career.
Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.
This shot was taken in Vanuatu on a magic lagoon with the clearest water I have ever seen. My family and I had a fantastic time exploring this beautiful island. Our kids have been fortunate enough to have already visited quite a few countries in their young lives, but according to my son this was the "Best holiday ever!".
Enjoying delicious food, celebratory drinks, and good conversations after a company training event at the Gold Coast, Australia. Meeting new business associates is like bumping into old friends you haven't seen for a while. Such joy!
THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: I graduated 20 years ago and throughout my career I have been working in the health, advertising, travel, and most recently not-for-profit sector. I have always been a dedicated, loyal and hard worker. I worked my way up to earning a 6-figure annually income, but the stress and long working hours came at a price. I realised this could not go on any longer and started looking for a new opportunity.
THE CAREER THAT WAS OFF BALANCE: Although I was lucky to have a short commute to the office, the stressful days at work not only meant that my children spent 10 hours a day away from home at school and before & after care, it also meant that I missed out on pretty much all of the important school events which left me with a bad case of 'Guilty Mom Syndrome'. And even though I would physically clock out at work, I could never clock out in my head which meant I was hardly ever present at home. My workload kept increasing, but the hours in a day never did.
THE BOOK THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS: I have always been intrigued by Personal Development. I have read multiple books and attended several webinars & seminars in this space. By the time I resigned, my confidence and self-esteem had taken a big hit and I felt pretty lost for a while. It was at that point that I was determined to change my mindset and stop being a victim. I was recommended the book 'Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself - How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One' by Dr. Joe Dispenza. A new, fascinating world opened up for me.
THE BUSINESS THAT I AM RUNNING: The business that I was led to shortly after, is the business that I run today. Representing award-winning Personal Development products assisting people to improve their lives. Tapping into a global economy and connecting with clients from Australia, to North America, Europe and everything in between. I feel privileged to work with incredible entrepreneurs who are supportive, talented and very driven.

Taking time out for myself, a necessity to keep my life in balance. For me this is either a run in nature, a swim in the ocean pool, or a yoga practice on the beach to relax my body and mind.
My portable business gives me the flexibility to work around my children. It allows me to go to school events, be there for them when they come home after school, take them to outside school activities, and even spend more time on school holidays with them.
